What is Holdwise?
Holdwise tracks the dividends from your buy and hold portfolio across taxable, Roth, Traditional IRA, 401(k), and HSA accounts. It shows a dividend calendar, trailing 12 month income, by-account breakdowns, and a reinvestment modeler. Your positions stay private on your device.
What does Holdwise Pro include, and what does it cost?
The free tier covers up to 5 positions. Pro unlocks unlimited positions, CSV import, auto lookup of dividends, the reinvestment modeler, and ex-dividend reminders. Pricing is $1.99 USD per month or $17.99 USD per year. Pro auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
How do I manage or cancel Pro?
Pro is billed through Apple. To view, change, or cancel:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
- Select Holdwise to change plan or cancel.
You can also visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
What is the Tiingo API key for?
Holdwise uses Tiingo's free dividend feed to auto-fill annual dividends per share and to read real ex-dates for trailing income. You add your own free Tiingo key, and it is stored only in the iOS Keychain on your device. We never see it.
How do I import a CSV from Fidelity, Schwab, or Vanguard?
In Holdwise, open the import option and choose your broker's positions CSV export. Holdwise reads the symbol and share count for each holding. Nothing is uploaded, the file is parsed on your device.
Does Holdwise sync between my devices?
Holdwise stores data on your device by default. You can turn on optional iCloud sync, which moves your data into your own private iCloud database that only you can read. It never passes through our servers, because we do not run any.
How do I restore Pro on a new device?
Open Holdwise, go to Settings, then tap Restore Purchases. Sign in with the same Apple ID that purchased Pro.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not the developer. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find the Holdwise charge, and request a refund.
