VeraCast Support

VeraCast turns the forecast into a plain language daily briefing written on your iPhone, then backs it with animated radar, National Weather Service alerts, earthquake and hurricane notifications, nineteen activity outlooks, a five day pollen forecast, a Pet Walk card, and a Premium astro-weather horoscope. No ads, no tracking, no account.

On iPhones that support Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro and newer), the briefing is written privately on your device. On iPhones that do not, VeraCast writes it using Google's Gemini AI in the cloud, so the briefing still appears. In that cloud case your location's name, the relevant weather, and any personalization you set (display name, pet name) are sent to Google only to generate the text. Premium unlocks the Astro-Weather Horoscope, Trip Planner, animated radar, smart rain and storm alerts, extra AI briefing tones, and Home Screen, Lock Screen, and Apple Watch widgets. Pricing is $6.99 USD per year with a 3 day free trial for new subscribers, or $0.99 USD per month. Your daily briefing, severe weather alerts, weather news, and activity outlooks are free. Premium auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Open VeraCast, go to Settings, then tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID that purchased Premium.

VeraCast is available in 26 countries. Severe weather watches and warnings come from the National Weather Service and are US only for now, international alert support is on the roadmap. Forecasts use Apple WeatherKit with Open-Meteo as a backup, RainViewer for radar, USGS for earthquakes, and Google's Pollen API for pollen.

The Pet Walk card reads current conditions and tells you at a glance whether it is a Great, OK, or Skip moment to walk the dog, then adds a short tip using the pet name you enter in Settings. The verdict is computed on device from temperature, precipitation, wind, and storm risk.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not the developer. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find the VeraCast charge, and request a refund.

Yes. VeraCast has no ads, no tracking, no accounts, and no analytics. Your location is sent to the weather providers above to return your forecast, and, when the AI briefing or horoscope runs in the cloud, your location name and weather are sent to Google to generate that text.
