What is VitalLedger?

VitalLedger is a private, on-device pet health tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch. Log vaccines, medications, weight, grooming, vet visits, lab results, and more. Share with family or your pet sitter when you need to.

How do I manage or cancel my Premium subscription?

Premium is billed through Apple. To view, change, or cancel:

  • Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  • Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
  • Select VitalLedger to change plan or cancel.

You can also visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

What does Premium include?

Premium unlocks unlimited pets, lab PDF storage, custom record types, Family Sharing, advanced health insights, and the Apple Watch quick-log experience. Pricing is $2.99 USD per month or $14.99 USD per year. Your subscription auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

How does Family Sharing work?

Premium uses Apple Family Sharing. Once you subscribe, members of your Family Sharing group can install VitalLedger and access Premium features at no extra cost. Each member's pet data stays private to their own iCloud account by default.

Does my pet data sync across devices?

Yes. VitalLedger syncs through your private iCloud account using CloudKit. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest and is never shared with us or third parties. Make sure iCloud is signed in and iCloud Drive is enabled on each device.

I lost my data after reinstalling. How do I restore it?

Sign into the same iCloud account you used originally and open VitalLedger. Sync may take a few minutes on first launch. If your data does not appear within 10 minutes, email us at contact@jcmobileappstudio.com with your Apple ID region and approximate date of last use.

How do I restore my Premium subscription on a new device?

Open VitalLedger, go to Settings, tap Premium, then tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID that purchased the subscription.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not the developer. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find the VitalLedger charge, and request a refund.

Is my pet's data private?

Yes. Your data lives in your private iCloud container. We do not collect, sell, or have access to your pet records. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
