Privacy Policy

JC Mobile App Studio LLC ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect on jcmobileappstudio.com (the "Site"), why, and what choices you have. Apps published by JC Mobile App Studio may have separate, app specific privacy policies, which are linked from each app's listing.

What we collect on this Site

App notify signups. When you submit an email on a specific app's "Notify me" form, we store your email address, the app slug, the time, your IP address, and your browser's user agent string in our database. We use this only to send you a one time launch email for that app.

Newsletter signups. When you subscribe to the weekly newsletter, we store your email address, the time, your IP address, and your user agent. Each subscriber gets a private unsubscribe token. You can unsubscribe with one click from any newsletter email.

Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps short term access logs that include IP address, request URL, user agent, and timestamp, used for spam prevention and abuse mitigation.

Cookies and similar technologies. We do not use our own analytics cookies. This Site does use cookies and similar technologies served by our advertising partner, Google, to display and measure ads, as described in "Advertising" below. If you visit from a region that requires a consent choice (such as the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland), a consent banner records your choice so we can honor it.

Advertising

This Site is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service provided by Google, to display ads on the Site.

• Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including ads based on your prior visits to this Site and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites on the Internet.
• Third-party vendors, including Google, may set their own cookies and collect data through the ads shown on this Site. We do not control those cookies, and their use is governed by each vendor's own privacy policy.

Consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. If you visit from these regions, a Google-certified consent management platform asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown. If you do not consent, you may still see non-personalized ads, which use cookies to limit ad frequency and measure performance but not to build an advertising profile of you. You can review or change your choice at any time through the consent controls presented on the Site.

How we use your information

• To send one time launch emails for apps you signed up to be notified about.
• To send the weekly newsletter to subscribers, and to honor unsubscribe requests.
• To investigate abuse, spam, or security incidents.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information for money. We do not share the contact information you give us (such as your email) with third parties except: (a) our hosting and infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) and our newsletter provider (Beehiiv), acting as processors on our behalf, (b) when required by law, or (c) if the business is sold, in which case you'll be notified before any transfer of personal data. Our advertising partner, Google, separately sets its own cookies to serve ads, as described in "Advertising" above.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross context behavioral advertising (CCPA / CPRA in California, GDPR in the EU and UK). To exercise these rights, email contact@jcmobileappstudio.com with the request and the email address tied to your records. We'll respond within 30 days.

"Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" (California). We do not sell your personal information for money. The use of advertising cookies by Google and its partners may be considered "sharing" for cross context behavioral advertising under the CCPA / CPRA. California residents can opt out of personalized advertising using the methods in the "Advertising" section above, including Google Ads Settings and the consent controls on the Site. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal where required.

Data retention

App notify signups are kept until the related app launches or two years, whichever comes first. Newsletter signups are kept until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribed records are kept in a suppressed state so we don't accidentally re-add you to the list.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, email contact@jcmobileappstudio.com and we will delete it.

Security

Data is stored in Cloudflare D1 (SQLite) inside the Cloudflare network. Email addresses and unsubscribe tokens are not encrypted at rest within the database itself, but the database is only accessible to us via Cloudflare's authenticated tooling. Transport is always HTTPS.

Changes

We'll post material changes to this policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top.
