The Pixel 11 leaked a month early. Here is what the listings actually show.

Google's Pixel 11 series is not due to be unveiled until mid-August, but a trio of Amazon listings that stayed live just long enough to get screenshotted may have already shown almost the entire lineup, colors and prices included. The listings have since been pulled, and there are enough odd details in them that this is not confirmed. Here is what actually showed up, and how much of it holds together.

Nine colors, four phones

The listings point to a four-model lineup: Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The base Pixel 11 appeared in three finishes, listed under the names Obsidian, Hibiscus, and Pistachio, though the fine print inside the listings called them Midnight, Fuchsia, and Moss, names that line up with earlier leaks. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL showed up in Dune and Sterling, with Olive and Canyon expected to round out that lineup based on prior rumors. The Pro Fold appeared in Pine and Midnight. (9to5Google)

That naming mismatch is actually a point in the leak's favor rather than against it. Google has a habit of using one set of names in marketing and a different, more literal set in backend product listings, so seeing both versions show up together looks more like an early placeholder page than a fake.

The pricing, if it holds

Assuming the listings are accurate, here is what a Pixel 11 would cost. The base Pixel 11 starts at $899 for 256GB, or $1,019 for 512GB. The Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099 for 256GB, climbing to $1,219 for 512GB and $1,449 for 1TB. The Pro XL starts higher, at $1,299 for 256GB, up to $1,419 and $1,649 for the larger storage tiers. The base model's spec sheet held a small surprise too. An earlier leak had claimed Google might cut the base Pixel 11 down to 8GB of RAM. The Amazon listings show 12GB instead, alongside a 6.3-inch, 1080x2424 display and a 4,985 mAh battery, both modest bumps over last year. (9to5Google)

What smells off

A few details keep this in leak territory rather than confirmed territory. The listings reference Android 16 as the shipping software, when the Pixel 11 will almost certainly launch on Android 17. They also mention a SIM ejector tool, an accessory Google has not shipped in years, and a "Google Pixel Tag," an item tracker that does not currently exist, though one has been rumored on and off for a while. The product photos themselves are noticeably low-resolution and a little pixelated in places, which is consistent with a placeholder listing but also consistent with something less official. My honest read: this has the shape of a real listing that went live before Google meant it to, not a fabrication. The naming inconsistencies, the oddly specific battery and RAM figures, and the fact that Amazon pulled the listings quickly all point the same direction. But "probably real" is not the same as "confirmed," and I would not bank on any single number here until Google's own event. Google is expected to formally unveil the Pixel 11 lineup on August 12, about a month out from when these listings surfaced. (9to5Google)

Why I'm paying attention to this one

Full disclosure, I am an Apple fanboy who builds iOS apps for a living, but my second phone is a Pixel 10 Pro XL, and I genuinely like it. I picked it up during a stretch where I was bored with the Apple ecosystem and wanted to see the other side. The camera and the software feel are excellent.

It has not replaced my iPhone, though, and honestly I do not expect the Pixel 11 to change that either. Apple Wallet, iMessage, and the rest of the ecosystem are too deep in for me to walk away from right now. So the Pixel stays my second phone, the one I reach for when I want a break from my own platform, and that is exactly why a leak like this gets my attention. If the pricing above holds, it is a real jump across the board, and worth knowing before you decide whether a Pixel earns a spot in your pocket too.
