ChoreSight
Family chore tracker
JC Mobile App Studio
Most chore apps run on the honor system, a tap that says 'done' with nothing behind it. ChoreSight asks for proof. To close out a chore, you snap a live photo in the app of the finished work, and the camera is locked to capture only, so no one can pull an old picture from the camera roll. The result is a household where 'done' actually means done.
Accountability is built into how the list behaves. Skip a chore and it turns red and locks to the top of the screen, no snoozing, no hiding, no 'I'll do it later.' If a task goes overdue, anyone in the household can step in, take it over with one tap, and get the credit. Each chore can carry a baseline photo of what finished looks like, so there is no arguing about the standard.
Parents run everything from one dashboard. You see what is to do, what is overdue, and what is waiting on your review, approve or dispute each photo submission, and send reminders that a family member confirms. Kids see only their own chores. A shared Proof Feed keeps a visual audit trail of every completed task, so the whole household can see the work that got done.
Setup is quick: the Admin shares a six character join code, members install ChoreSight and tap Join Household, and minor profiles can only join after the Admin grants parental consent. Your household's chores sync across devices in real time. Proof photos are used only to verify chores and are automatically deleted from our servers 30 days after submission, with no third-party analytics or advertising.
ChoreSight is free for up to 10 open chores at a time with text-only completion. ChoreSight Premium unlocks unlimited active chores, the photo Proof Feed, Household Takeover, and Apple Family Sharing, for $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year with a 7-day free trial on the annual plan. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
